On January 30th, 2016, the Mistyvale treasury box was found to be short a large sum of money.
After a meeting of the Mistyvale Monarchy and a brief consultation with the King of Westmarch, King Kalevra and Sheriff Kaytana had a private meeting with our Prime Minister Silent Judge, who is financially responsible for the Shire’s treasury (see Corpora Article III, Section 4, #14).
Not only is this petty theft and embezzlement from a non-profit incorporated organization, it is also a violation of Code of Conduct point number three, “theft or willful destruction of other people’s property” (R.o.P. page 4).
It is for these reasons the Mistyvale Monarchy has decided to terminate the membership of Joshua Kuykendall, aka Silent Judge, and remove him from the office of Prime Minister immediately. Per Article XI, Section 2 of the Corpora, he will be banned from Mistyvale park days, battlegames, tournaments, events, demos, A&S nights, and the like. The ban will run for six calendar months, beginning on February 1st, 2016, and ending on August 1st, 2016.
Rather than run a pro-tem election so close to Mid-Reign, Sheriff Kaytana will take over the Prime Minister’s responsibilities until the new Prime Minister is elected and takes over at Mid-Reign on February 20th, 2016.
Due to the disappearance of Mistyvale funds while in the possession of Silent Judge, it is the opinion of the Mistyvale Monarchy that no member of that place of residence will be allowed to run for the office of Prime Minister. The treasury is not safe in the possession of anyone residing in that house. It is for this reason the Mistyvale Monarchy has determined that Mistyvale members Joshua Kuykendall (Silent Judge) and Dustonya Harrington (Hell Raiser) will not be eligible to run for the office of Prime Minister of Mistyvale at this time. Since Mera Jade and her family, who are also residents, are not members of Mistyvale, the monarchy of Thor’s Refuge will be notified of the situation so they may make their own determination in regards to their office of Prime Minister.
The funds were returned to the Mistyvale treasury on February 1st, 2016.
